Pragmatic Play released Sweet Rush Bonanza on 29 September 2025. It combines the Sweet Bonanza look and scatter-pay layout with the position-marking mechanic of Sugar Rush, another Pragmatic Play candy slot. It is the first game in the family that is a hybrid of two series rather than an update of one.
How the mechanic works
- Marked positions. Positions that take part in a win are marked on the grid.
- Multipliers on repeats. A marked position starts at 2× and doubles each time it wins again, up to a cap of 128×.
- Sticky in free spins. In the bonus the marked positions and their multipliers stay in place. Four or more scatters award 10 free spins.
Key numbers
- RTP: 96.50% on the official page, with lower profiles available to operators.
- Maximum win: 5,000× the stake, much lower than the 25,000× of the 1000 game.
- Volatility: very high.
- Ante bet: three modes, one raising the chance of the bonus, one adding random multipliers and one placing a guaranteed 32× on a position.
- Stake range: 0.20 to 240 in listings, subject to market limits.
How it differs from the other versions
Sweet Bonanza and its 1000 and 2500 versions rely on bombs that appear in free spins. Sweet Rush Bonanza instead builds multipliers on the grid from repeated wins, so the way a bonus develops is different, and the highest cap is lower. That makes it a different game rather than a larger version of the original, and experience with one does not transfer directly to the other.
As ever, a high maximum or a clever mechanic does not change the average return, and results in a very high-volatility game vary a great deal from session to session. See the Sweet Rush Bonanza page for the specifications we have verified, and check the information screen at your operator for the RTP profile in use.
